Grants Management Specialist
The Center for Crime Victim Services (CCVS) is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our grants team. CCVS provides leadership to the state to ensure that justice is delivered to all victims and survivors of crime through recognition of harm done and advocacy for their rights and needs.
CCVS administers numerous federal and state grant programs that provide funding to organizations throughout Vermont that provide respectful, trauma informed services for victims of crime. This person will support CCVS grants administration working closely with the Director of Finance and Administration and the Senior Grants Manager. This individual will assist in the development and modification of grant related policies and procedures, in accordance with the organizational needs and objectives, as well as government regulations. Support grants team with state and federal accounting software to ensure accuracy and grant requirements. In-state and out-of-state travel may be required.
Qualifications include: bachelor’s degree preferably in accounting or business management, proficiency in Microsoft Office, aptitude for understanding on-line reporting systems and databases and strong written and verbal communication skills. We are seeking an individual who is a team player, can multi-task, can handle deadlines, and is detail oriented. Although, CCVS is a state agency, its employees are not state employees.
